One of the unique aspects of Ballyhaunis is the amount of nationalities that are represented in our community.  This, along with our Christian heritage, is something worth celebrating.  Plans are underway to celebrate our heritage and diversity on Sunday August 25th on the Annual Abbey Pattern Day.  Events will commence at Holywell where tradition tells us that St Patrick baptised the first Christians, and will end at the Friary Grounds.  Lots of help will be needed, on the day and preparing for the various events.
