23rd to 25th August
Friday 23rd
13.00 Visit to historic Augustinian Abbey Ballyhaunis. Lecture on history of abbey. Riverbank walk followed by tour of graveyard. Opportunity to consult with local historian.
15.30 Visit to Bekan Church and graveyard, ancestral burial ground of Brackloon people followed by visit to Knock Shrine and tour of Folk Museum.
21.00 Irish night and music Seisiun, Coney Island Bar, Gortaganny.
Saturday 24th
12.30 Blessing of Caldaire in Brackloon North with unveiling of commemorative stone in memory of un-baptised infants and all buried there. Memorial Mass accompanied by traditional music and hymns.
14.30 Visit of places of historical interest in the area followed by Group photo. Exhibition of handball skills and demonstration of childrens games.
18.30 Launch of Commemorative magazine followed by Dinner Dance in the Park Hotel, Kiltimagh.
Sunday 25th
Gathering with refreshments, followed by Heritage Pageant and Abbey Pattern
17.00 Farewell get together and refreshments in local hostelry.

National Heritage Week
17th to 25th August
Display of Augustinian heritage, Local Genealogy and Family History Research along with the formal opening of the Abbey cemetery project.
Historical Pageant
25th August
The Pageant will be a celebration of our heritage and the cultural diversity within our community. It will mark the various milestones in the social, cultural and religious history of the locality. A number of theatrical and dramatic re-enactments will take place as part of a colourful procession through the town terminating the Grounds of St. Mary's Augustinian Abbey. The Pageant will involve participation from the entire community and will attract visitors from Mayo, nationally and internationally.
The Historical Pageant will also coincide with Nationaly Heritage Week and the project will also involve the formal unveiling of a new commemorative display at the Abbey cemetery to mark the town's rich history and heritage, as part of our Gathering event.
Display/Presentation of Augustinian heritage and writings, also genealogy and family history research.
Abbey Pattern Mass in the Friary, Family Fun Day in the Friary field.
GAA Reunion
31st August
Gathering at GAA grounds for Exhibition of photographs. Possiblity of match with the current team. Video of 1988 Intermediate match to be shown, finger food etc.

28th September
Sat 28th September The final race in the Mayo AC 2013 League starting at 4.00pm. Registration online www.runireland.ie or on the day at Ballyhaunis Rugby Club, Doctor's Road. Prizes for various categories, refreshments served, all runners, joggers, and walkers welcome.
